Ja Rule In Court Over Gun Faces 3 1/2 Years If Convicted!

Ja Rule could spend  three years or more in prison due to a 2007 gun possession charge in New York, Manhattan.

The New York Post reported that  Ja Rule lost his bid to have the case tossed in a Manhattan Supreme Court. Even though Ja Rule lawyer Stacey Richman argued that police had no reason to search Ja rule car after a concert at the Beacon Theatre.

Unfortunately Judge Richard Carruthers denied the motion to dismiss the case.

Police found a .40 caliber handgun and marijuana inside his Maybach.

Just one hour prior to Ja Rule’s arrest, Lil Wayne was arrested when police allegedly spotted him and an acquaintance smoking marijuana near their tour bus.

Police searched Lil Wayne’s tour bus and found a .40 caliber pistol in addition to marijuana. Ja Rule is due back in court in a few months. Keep your head up!
